Visual Arts

Wei’s artistic journey began with a strong foundation in realistic pencil drawing. Over time, she gravitated toward the vibrant textures of Impressionism, inspired by her background in fashion and design. Eventually, her style evolved under the influence of surrealist masters like Salvador Dalí and Elsa Schiaparelli.

Now, Wei uniquely blends traditional Eastern soft-brush techniques with Western artistic approaches, creating works that are emotionally rich and visually distinctive. She is especially drawn to female figures, often portraying them with symbolic elegance—whether it's an ethereal woman emerging from the Great Wall of China or a modern muse rendered in delicate brush strokes.
